Former Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez maintained that his Napoli
side will go out an attack last
season uefa Champions league finalist Borussia Dortmund tomorrow evening. The Partenopei host
last season’s runner-up at Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday in their first
group stage match of the campaign.
“Napoli must play as
they always play,” he told a Press conference. “We are not thinking about
playing 11 men behind the ball. We want to attack and win.
“The difference
between Europe and Italy though is the speed of the game. We face a club
tomorrow who has had the same Coach for six years.
“It’s the first real
test for us. Borussia are amongst the strongest teams in Europe, but it is just
the beginning of our journey.
“We are continuing to
grow though. We can do important things, but this is just the start and
tomorrow we face a team that is in better shape than ever before.
“In an 11 against 11
game however, anything is possible. The fans will be decisive tomorrow.
“The Champions League
final is in the future. At the moment I am focusing on the next game against
one of the best teams in Europe.”
