After a 2-2 draw against Villareal last
weekend, Real are currently placed fourth position on the La liga BBVa log
stands after winning their first three games. Garcia's side, meanwhile, are in
13th place after drawing one, winning one and losing two games thus far in La
Liga.
Going into the match the Madrid giants look to be in an imperious
mood, as evidenced by the 6-1 demolition job they inflicted upon Galatasaray in
a Champions League Group B fixture last Tuesday.
And while Garcia's side did manage to defeat Los Blancos 2-1 at
the Coliseum Alfonso Perez last season, not since 2008 have they found victory
in Los Blancos' backyard.
Azulones will look to build on their first win of La Liga last
weekend, and will try and stop the rampaging Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored
11 goals in seven appearances against El Geta since he started playing for Los
Merengues in 2009.
Saturday could see the second start for record-breaking signing
Gareth Bale, who opened his account for the Spanish giants when he netted on
debut in the thrilling 2-2 draw at El Madrigal last weekend.
This weekend, Ancelotti is unlikely to have the services of
Marcelo, Raphael Varane and Fabio Coentrao available to him, while Iker
Casillas and Xabi Alonso are both out for unspecified lengths of time with rib
and foot injuries respectively.
