Barcelona star Neymar is unperturbed by
his goal drought. The 21-year-old made a €57 million switch to the Spanish
champions from Santos in the off season but has since struggled to find the
target thus far, with his lone goal coming in the Supercopa de España.
The Brazilian made his Champions League debut against Ajax on
Wednesday and his substitution on 75 minutes was cheered by the fans at Camp
Nou.
Despite this, Neymar is taking a relaxed approach to proceedings.
"I missed chances, but the goals will come," he
told AS. "I prefer my
assist for Pique's goal and the general team play. I can still give much more
to Barcelona.
"But I am very happy because the team started well in the
Champions League and it was so important."
While Neymar may be struggling to score, his strike partner Lionel
Messi is having no such troubles, with the Argentinian bagging a hat-trick
against the Dutch side.
"I am very, very happy to be sharing the pitch like a genius
like Messi [who is] the best in the world," Neymar said of his team-mate.
