AC Milan controversial striker Mario Balotelli’s was
handed a three match ban due to his post-game confrontation with the
referee and was subsequently given a red card. He’ll miss Milan’s games against
Bologna, Sampdoria and Juventus.
The Italian international was shown the red card by referee Banti after the final whistle for taking his
protests too far following the 2-1 loss against Napoli last night.
However, Milan have
confirmed that they will be appealing Mario Balotelli’s three-match ban after he was sent off
against Napoli.
Meanwhile, Milan will
have their Curva Sud shut
for their next home game against Sampdoria as punishment for racist taunts
towards Neapolitans.
