After a bad start to the season, Galatasaray have comfirmed the sacking of coach Fatih Terim just days before their match with Juventus in a champions league and Roberto Mancini is favourite to
take over.
The news was confirmed
by a statement from the Turkish side this evening.
It was reportedly down
to both the 6-1 Champions League home defeat to Real Madrid and his refusal to
accept a new contract.
According to several
Italian and Turkish sources, former Manchester City manager Mancini is
already in Istanbul for negotiations.
Galatasaray are
due to face Juventus in
the Champions League on October 2 in Turin.
