It was apparent that the recent
international break had an effect on the German champions, with lots of players
all having represented their respective countries in two World Cup qualifiers
since last week Friday.
However, the last season treble winners still managed to remain in
touch with Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund, who are two points clear of
their title rivals at the top of the standings. Speaking after the match, the
Gaffer said
"We were not tired, but after an eight- or nine-day
break, the rhythm was missing something," Guardiola told SID.
He continued: "For us, a game after an international break is
always difficult."
The Munich team has a host of international talent from several
different parts of the world, and games after the international break can be
tricky for the German giants.
But Die Roten's second-half rally was good enough to convince the ex
Barcelona tactician maintained that his side
is ready for their first round of Champions League duty scheduled for Tuesday.
The 42-year-old explained: "In the second half we played
