Barcelona manager Tata Martino admitted that their game against
Valladolid was a game of two halves as his Barcelona side came from behind to
beat Real Valladolid 4-1.
Javi Guerra put the
Pucela ahead, but two goals from Alexis and one apiece for Xavi and Neymar gave
the Blaugrana all three points.
“In general, we lacked
intensity in the first phase of the first half, they got behind us and we
didn’t pressure enough,” he told a Press conference.
“What happened needs
to be corrected because we won’t always be able to fight back.
“Conceding goals from
set pieces is one of our current worries. But I really liked the second half
the team put in.
“I’m always an
optimist when it comes to my job, but it’s not easy to find such optimal
results. It’s time to enjoy this as the manager of this team.”
